When I was 10+/- played little Pretty Native Blood Runs Through My Veins Sunset Shirt league. When the team won a game, everyone would go to the Dairy Barn for an ice cream cone to celebrate. I would never forget this act because things could have gone wrong for me.

I also had to remove myself from contact with people whose behavior was objectively awful. For your phone example – that momentary anger when you hear it is fine, but then try recognizing that this is the reaction you want to change. Take a deep breath while you’re in the moment. Then, do the thing you decided. If you keep doing this, day after day, you just might find that the anger doesn’t come.

Something absolutely amazingly awesome has to happen for me to not be like this every day. Needless to say, all of these happened at some very rough times. And because I know some are going to ask or assume. I’ve never gotten violent with anyone or put anyone in danger during those times. I can assure you that I was most definitely alone during those times.

Crying isn’t just sadness, it’s release. Laying down and taking a nap works too. I get that way when I’m “running dry.” I was in my 30s before I realized the vast majority of my angry outbursts could be eliminated by a glass of water. Thought I was just an angry jerk. Turns out I was just a dumbass that was only rarely drinking water and was basically living off of soda and coffee. Yes, just recently after a shitty day at work and other daily annoying stuff. I broke the washing machine because the door wouldn’t close properly.

Oh of Nice Elton John Hat Signature Shirt course not. I just know for me that when I didn’t do anything to try to mitigate it, such as take a walk or breath or something, I’ve explored all over family and friends, then the depression sets in for me and no one is happy. Then the trying to explain it and no one really understanding… I think medication and therapy are key if this happens frequently. Yeah. I was in a car accident in October so I have a temporary brain injury- concussion recovery. I get pissed off way too fast since this but even before that, its because the sensory system is overloaded and needs a break. Take a moment to deep breathe and do something you enjoy/make you happy. Take a moment or day, love yourself a little more today. I’m currently there today… Also, I disabled notifications for many apps. That has helped so much. I’m in control of how much my phone rings / vibrates/make noise.
