Icons of which was this independence day theme stuff that had pop rocks. Pretty awesome day. When I was little, I’d tag along with my trucker grandpa while I was off for the summer. We’d go to all sorts of places, and the workers would always load me up with stuff while. Sometimes it was stuff they made. Other times it would be vending machine snacks or cookies. They’re lunchbox if it was like, a soybeans processing factory or something like that. One time, I hit the fucking jackpot when we went to the Barrel of Fun factory and they gave me two giant cases of little bags of chips. My school lunches were lit.

I believe the post office printed many of these so they would not create a frenzy. I don’t think they are hugely valuable but interesting. I have also received a package like this when I bought something from eBay. Some people that sell on there must have far too much time on their hands. I appreciated the effort tho.

I ended up staying the whole afternoon talking with him about stamps. I’m atrocious when it comes to math so you can only imagine my agony in having to do this every day. It was the dumbest thing ever, especially coming from another state agency where we had.

Stamps don’t expire stamps they don’t want. My father used to do a lot of mailing – and he would buy old stamps, not from the post office, but from stamp dealers – and get a 10 or 20% discount off of face-value.

As far as I can tell from a Good Respect To The Fallen Ones Shirt quick Googling, there wasn’t any flag of the Confederate States that the NC flag directly resembles. It looks the most like the Stars and Bars, but the Stars and Bars have three horizontal stripes (red, white, red) and a blue area that only crosses the top two stripes, while the NC flag, like the TX flag, has only two horizontal blocks and the third block on the left stretches the entire height of the flag. I’d definitely vote for changing it if it was an option (I live in NC) because any amount of association with the Confederacy is too much, but it isn’t nearly as egregious as incorporating the battle flag into your state flag somewhere.
