I wasn’t a huge coffee fan until I moved to California. There is a lot of yuppie shit out here, but the coffee is actually excellent. The first experience was at Ritual in Napa, they have an open-air market. The espresso I had tasted like orange chocolate and dried cherries, I had never experienced anything like it before.

My mom drank her coffee black. Smelled amazing tastes terrible. Had to put sugar in it. I was able to get a taste for unsweetened iced tea but any coffee hot or cold has to have something to cut the bitterness.
