No bitter taste, actually good flavor. I don’t drink much espresso, but that was my first eye-opening experience. I make most of my coffee myself these days thanks to COVID. The secret for me is freshly roasted beans. When fresh, the coffee froths as it releases co2, which you will not see on old coffee.

I use a pour-over, used to use a Chemex which was very nice. The coffee quality is great, mostly because the beans are fresh. You can get fresh beans directly from roasters you like, I use gocoffeego.com to get mine. Usually arrives a day or two after roasting. Hopefully, someday you will taste some coffee you like!
