I wish everyone in Europe would stop acting like their countries are a utopia with no social issues. Never saw anyone in a sports stadium in the US throwing bananas at black players or doing monkey chants. I’ve been to Europe a few times on business the last few years, and based on my experience they are more racist than most Americans I know. Similarly, I’m from a pretty racist area of the US. Like casually calling any person of color the n-word level of racist and then screeching about PC police if told to stop. But the people I know from Europe (Belgium specifically!) who often tell me America is so bad are also the same people who find racist jokes funny and complain about people being too PC.
