Fully agree! Weather can definitely make or break a mood. Though like any place in rainy weather, the coziness can be improved with soft lighting. Sprinkle some candles here and there and you can enjoy a good book listening to the rain. Though personally, the thought of the open sea welling in a rainstorm might bring too much dread, so if there are curtains, I’d use those.

The furniture is honestly an insult to minimalism, but the overall space has comfy and welcoming vibes. Maybe not quite “swaddled in a blanket, in the corner of a room” snug, like most people here, would prefer… but that’s not really a prerequisite to coziness, so much as it’s an easy way to elicit the requisite feelings of support and safety.
