I used to work for a law office that did a lot of title track for real estate. There’s a tradition or cultural artifact in black families, at least in the South, where every child gets a % piece of property of land rather than dividing the land out in equal portions. Will the court rule like that even if there’s a contract that requires majority consent to sell?
