I don’t know. Contracts are a different deal than regular property law. Generally, courts will try to preserve and enforce contracts as written, but there’s a strong preference in the law not to entail property. They prefer for it to be used and freely sellable. Depending on the nature of the contract it may or may not be enforced, especially if it’s being challenged by a party to said contract. This is what happened to the Hawai land Zuckerberg bought and turned into a private beach/home.
