Hey, if it helps: for the longest time I had trouble finding what made me happy. I didn’t think anything did. And happy moments were fleeting and came rarely. That’s when I started getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things. Slowly, I found stuff I was passionate about and things that make me get out of bed every day with excitement. I was going to write a whole bunch of crap, but it really comes down to three things. Affection, appreciation, and respect. Make sure she knows that you love her, you’re glad for each day together, and that her thoughts and feelings are important and valuable to you. August is easily my least favorite month.
