At work, we had an offsite for my department’s young professionals group that was being planned for early June. The guy organizing it is really great and challenged us to get creative with the location it would be at, granted we can present business justification for it. The last offsite was in Texas (we’re all located in either the midwest or east coast) and we wanted to top it so we had a South American city and a location in Scotland on the table with some industry-relevant reasons in mind. Maybe it’ll be rescheduled / replanned from scratch, but it’s going to be a long time before travel will be safe.

I perform with a drum and bugle corps, a special type of marching band that travels and performs in parades and field show competitions during the summer. 2020 would be my second year participating and it’s a great way for me to stay active and playing my instrument now that I’m out of school.
