I wouldn’t have had to close my newly opened business, I would have gone on an amazing Europe trip in May, I would have seen my only siblings only new baby more than once, and my friend’s new babies at all. I would have had a slamming 30th b’ day party and weekend in South Beach Fl. I would have been to the beach a couple of times this summer already. I wouldn’t have been sick all of March and gotten blood draw injury testing for antibodies. Yeah, My band had so much good stuff planned. Just came off of our largest run of shows ever, at major venues. Put out a successful music video. We had some serious buzz and upward trajectory. Then… Nothing. Screeched to a complete halt. It was genuinely heartbreaking after two years of hard work and months of planning for 2020.

I’d still have my bartending job. I’d have saved all the money from that job until the busy season ended. I’d have gone to the Dominican Republic as a reward for working two jobs at 70 hrs a week and saving up the money I needed to move to NYC or LA.
