I love the replies saying “Biden needs to fact-check too” thinking that this is a partisan thing. I want fact-checking for all my politicians, not just the ones I don’t agree with. This should be an easy sell for all Americans. As long as they use a 3rd party non-biased fact-checker, it’s beneficial for all parties. People have to stop hoping that the truth is going to set the world free from Trump. THE TRUTH DOESN’T MATTER TO THEM. Rational discussion and facts don’t mean anything anymore. The truth is what they make it. Young people and minorities voting means he loses. If they don’t, he wins. End of story.

There should absolutely be fact checks during the debate! For BOTH candidates! A group of “independent” experts (at least as independent as possible) to tell the American people what’s fact and what’s fiction. It would be unfair to do this just for one candidate and not the other (like what CNN did during RNC week). It needs to be transparent and for both candidates and all the candidates have to do is be honest. I believe that’s much easier for one candidate than the other and that would show.
