Can I move to your street? I’m always trying to engage with neighbors, but they’re like, “ah, nice day out. Byeeee.” I want to just have neighbors who will swing by unannounced, knock on the door, and want to hang out. Like when I was a kid. But no one in their 30s does that, even when you have a kid! Honestly, I just walk off. I no longer have a problem with them. Cut them off, short quick responses, and not a lot of smiling. Best of luck friend! Just squat in the grass, and take a shit while maintaining eye contact with them. Problem solved.
