This made me think about all the laws and such that the bible promotes that barely anyone adheres to. So I googled “bible rules that are hard to follow”. How did I get down the rabbit hole fast? There was so much “theological study” on all these rules and excuses as to why some are important and some not. It’s a real hypocritical exercise (IMO) of getting around the hard to do stuff. Here’s a few that surely aren’t followed by most Christians.

Of course, all religions have this stuff. I’m sure if I wanted, I could dig up all kinds of biblical laws that this pastor regularly breaks. But they will just come back with an interpretation that gives them a loophole. But they won’t see it that way of course. Some more devout and serious Christians I’ve know have had some pretty major issues in their lives. A therapist who was having sex with clients was one of these.
