I get that lots of people are victims of bad ideas. Not only that, I can excuse people who express bad ideas. Especially when they were effectively brainwashed into believing those bad ideas. But I can’t excuse bad conduct that flows from those bad ideas. Regardless of whether it is gay-bashing because of god or terrorist attacks because of Allah. There is no excuse for harming other people because you were indoctrinated.

However, her opinions on the matter have absolutely been influenced by the opinions of her father. Since children are so impressionable, she had no choice but to listen to her dad seriously and think the same things at some point. And that’s why I feel bad for her.
