Wranglerstar – he did great timber framing and just good practical stuff. Then when all clickbait with dumb shit and had surprise religious inseminations. I used to like his older stuff, but he really comes off as high and mighty now. He’s nestled himself into this religious/conservative audience that obviously strokes his ego. He still has some decent content, but I don’t check on it regularly anymore. I used to like his stuff, but he does come off as a massive snowflake these days. He has an unbelievably thin skin for a guy who presents himself as tough and self-sufficient.

Yeah, nowadays it’s all about “Arm yourselves the apocalypse is coming”. His fearmongering about the covid and BLM-protests are crazy. In a video not too long ago he even went so far as supporting the idea of forming militia-groups around the US. It’s the opposite for me with Smosh. Love their older content and don’t like the newer stuff. Lately, it just seems like their new videos are aimed at younger kids and it just feels more scripted. I used to watch Prestonplayz but eventually, he focused more on vlogs and if you ask me vlogs are really what makes YouTubers cringy because they just start yelling at people, and yeah he stopped just playing Minecraft with them his other YouTuber friends, He was the first YouTuber I subscribed to TBH.
