Shane Dawson. Found him for his haunting videos, I love a good haunting, and I liked that he was older than most of the kids on there and he didn’t have too much bullshit and a cutesy persona. He did that Jake Paul series I was going to watch out of interest, to learn who the fuck this Jake Paul guy was. And then the son of a bitch went and spread dangerous and misleading information about being a sociopath, aka having ASPD, alongside YouTube’s worst, most unethical, and most unprofessional therapist. Years later it turns out he’s probably a pedophile or at least has some fucked up views on what’s okay around kids so I’m glad I got out when I did.

Sargon of Akkad, The Amazing Atheist, and lots of others fell down the Anti-SJW rabbit hole and became quite the reactionary shitheads despite claiming to be liberal. (TJ isn’t as bad with this as Sargon though.) Also thinking about it in retrospect, they weren’t as skeptical/critical as they sold themselves as. Turns out that when you feel the need to always repeat how super skeptical and critical you are instead of just presenting your argumentation, then you tend to be full of shit. I have to say though that Stephen Woodford, even though he sometimes also appears a bit pretentious, is pretty good.
