I think the show looks great and has some really interesting sci-fi concepts (Spore drive, Saru’s species). I like a lot of the new characters and think they did a good job in the recasting of some of the old ones. And when the show clicks it does so quite well.

I’ve been a fan ever since I was 5 years old, about 25 years ago (my dad is a Trekkie). I really enjoy the show. Does it have flaws? Of course, but so do all the other series and movies. Does that mean I cannot enjoy it? No way.
