Almost 1000 Reddit awards, that cost real-life money, to a random person’s link of a very public & frontpage news story that is on every other sub… just think if all these people (or Reddit after the fact) donated this money to colon cancer research instead. It would honor Chadwick Boseman a hell of a lot more than giving a random person endless “Reddit points” for being the first to post about it on a huge sub.

It’s hard not to see this as some grave injustice by the universe. This guy probably worked his whole life to achieve success and fame as an actor, and when he finally does, he barely has time to enjoy it before discovering he has cancer. Damn what a loss. The dude made himself T’challa. The first black Marvel superhero with his own movie, and a huge part of the later MCU movies. I couldn’t even imagine the infinity war without the Wakandan battle.
