I strongly feel that BP2 should remain on the slate, but that they should rewrite it to pay tribute to this giant and introduce a successor who can take his place in the pantheon. Shuri is the obvious candidate, for many reasons. She may not have the power, wisdom, and grace of T’Challa yet, but she will grow into it, and until that time she’s got Okoye at her side.

Even if they pass the mantle in the movie, I cannot imagine Boseman would just disappear from the role. He was definitely gonna be a focal point for an entirely new crew of Avengers for whatever big team-up they had next. The movie brings great diversity into the MCU and means a lot to many people… I feel that they’re going to pass the torch in a similar vein to Fast & Furi.
