Yeah, it can be pretty daunting at first with how thick the rule books are. As a player, I think I was pretty lucky because I had a couple of friends that were pretty interested in DMing and designing campaigns. Aside from actually playing, I think podcasts these days can help make the game more accessible; Adventure Zone and Dungeons & Daddies are a couple of fun/silly ones, and if you’re interested in longer form playing that’s more by the books, Critical Role is good.

You could put one together for a lot less. But that’s a huge project for a beginner that’s also not computer savvy. The Ender 3 is a good single extruder printer that’s very affordable. Biqu might be easier/cheaper to upgrade to dual extrusion due to its motherboard. But I’m not 100% on that. The Prusa is far more expensive. But also higher quality and they have their own multi filament add-on that should be the easiest upgrade option.
