I grew up in the area. While we do have Trump supporters here it leans very blue. The general consensus is more shock that something like this would happen in our sleepy little corner of the map. It’s everyone who knows everyone’s area. I am not sure how it will all play out but I don’t think “sympathetic to his brand of domestic terrorism” is it. Honestly, I want felons and convicts to be able to vote. It may encourage politicians to focus on the rehabilitation of inmates rather than turning them into worse criminals that get released back into our society.

They are probably silage / good feed bales. The wrapping system to make those “marshmallow” bales is a bit expensive for just straw (unless they wrapped them to make a sign). They probably also used a preservative chemical to cut the crop as green as possible to increase the feed value and keep the microbial activity from… causing the bales to catch fire, ironically.
