People will say to love yourself for who you are, and while that’s true, it’s also kind of untrue. If you don’t like something about yourself, change it to something you DO like. Once you’re happier with yourself, you’ll get more confidence, and be overall happier in life. If you hate yourself for being an overweight person, who does nothing in their free time but go on the computer, change that. Go to the gym, or just go for walks every day, and spend less time on Reddit. The first step is the hardest, but after that, it gets easier.

I try to say, if your job or your lifestyle is keeping you away from your family more than a regular 8 hour + commute, change it at any cost. Don’t be so hard on yourself. If you wouldn’t think your friend was terrible for doing something why should you think you are terrible for doing it?
