When I was pregnant with my first kid I kept craving actual soap… that and charcoal. So instead I had cilantro and burnt toast. I was disappointed to be reminded that cilantro does not taste soapy to me. I had hoped it would suffice, but at least the burnt toast helped with the charcoal cravings.
