I have little love for mainstream news and think we’d all be better off if we didn’t rely so much on TV news in general (it’s mostly punditry anyway). But it really seems like you knock one down and then the lunatic base flocks to something else. America is a place where nothing matters. Is it like this in other countries? It just feels so broken and I have no clue how we address it. So I work for a fortune 50 tech company. Routinely the common tv in the break room would be set to fox and id always change it to CNN just to be a noodge. Then after the election, I noticed it was now on open.
I change it to msnbc to troll them a little more, then I see the guy mad grumbling changing it back. It’s the manager of an engineering team. I was shocked that someone with that education and type of position could believe the outlet that said Trump won 410 electoral college votes. It’s truly bafflingawww mannnn…. c’mon, youtube and its socialist goddess can’t just ban our totally inaccurate fake news busting fake news channel, that’s just a bunch of fake news” -oannI worked for OANN for three years. It doesn’t surprise me one bit that they wouldn’t talk. The atmosphere in that building is one of constant dread. The owner has cameras all over the place and monitors his employees like a hawk. He’s paranoid as fuck.
