Laura Dern, Sam Neil, and Chef Goldblum? I didn’t like World, I didn’t watch the Fallen Kingdom, but just the old cast coming back has me interested. Edit: guys, I’m very well aware that the movie might be shit, and that Colin Trevorrow is a hack, but me being slightly more optimistic for this is as simple as me liking the original cast a lot. I like those actors, I like to see them do stuff on film. That is as far as my optimism goes.

I have incredible memories of Jurassic Park. I think I saw it when I was a 5-year-old dinosaur mad kid. As I’ve grown older, I’ve grown to really appreciate the achievement in the original – all of the work to bring the creatures to life and the variety of techniques. And it still stands up today. I’d probably rate Jurassic World on the same level as the Lost World (which wasn’t as good as the original), but the Fallen Kingdom is far inferior to even Jurassic Park 3.
