Bedbugs are truly horrible. In 2014 we stayed in a little hotel in Death Valley National Park that was (and probably still is) infested with bedbugs. Try as we might avoid bringing them home, still came with us and bothered us for years until we finally managed to wipe them out.
Another sign is the bites they leave on your body. They usually leave a trail of mosquito type bites. The only difference is mosquitoes will bite you random available places.. bedbugs will bite in a trail formation so you can see it kinda like a path. That’s the first indication for me. And they love to come out at night when your sleeping.
