See the thing about protestors is that they ar unorganized people who feel they have been unjustly treated and that society is unfair. I expect them to have wildly different behaviors and forms of protest. The police and feds are there as a job and so I expect professional logical behavior from them and their additional rights and privileges, just like I would a notary(someone else who’s witness signature has an additional meaning, such as in wills they sign the “of sound mind” part) or something.
