After actually watching the video, the only thing the police really did wrong here did not move him faster off the hot tarmac. They checked on him ASAP and did the best they could it looks like. I know Reddit has a hate jerk for cops right now (understandably) but in this instance, I don’t think it’s their fault.

I saw the full video. He laid on the ground for 3 minutes after they were finally able to get cuffs on him after about 3 minutes of struggling with him. They had to hold him down as he was resisting so they could tie his legs up at which point he still tried to grab the rope. You don’t hear him once say anything about being too hot or he can’t breathe.
