The red light atop the Fremont Hotel would be lit before the tests in Las Vegas. The next day the test would go off. Friends had a cattle ranch on the Utah/Nevada border downwind of the tests. The mother and 2 sons died of cancer. No one in their family ever died of cancer before the tests.
