Washing your hands is low hanging fruit. Even though it’s not the route of transmission for most cases, why not eliminate it when it takes little investment. It is funny that certain idiots chose to wear a mask as the “asking too much of me” part, but you don’t hear people railing against washing their hands “because the gubment told them to”. Mask wearing is such a small investment, too, given the alternatives, and yet morons abound. I can factually state that I have experienced hardship due to the use of masks, unlike the anti-maskers. It makes me sick to hear these people and their phony excuses.

I have hearing loss and rely very heavily on lip-reading. On top of that, because of social distancing, I have to fight the urge to step a bit closer to someone because I don’t understand what they are saying. The other day I had to ask a person to repeat themselves five-time, and I’m still not sure what she said before she just walked away. With all that said, there is nothing going to stop me from wearing a mask or encouraging others to wear a mask because I can’t stand the thought of getting someone else sick.
