When the Nation needed help when people were dying and a pandemic was ripping through the country unchecked- the Republicans backed down, gave up, and abandoned us. In exchange for greater power in the courts, they have promulgated conspiracy theories and courted insanity, and in the end, they were even willing to throw away American lives. In every possible way save openly declaring a civil war, they have betrayed our Nation and betrayed our trust.
