My dad, while not a farmer, goes to help the inlaws at their farm every lambing season. Last year he came home after being down there for 3 weeks and said 4 days in one of the ewes gave him a big stomp on the foot because he was trying to turn the lamb. He stayed the extra 2 weeks and a bit, drove 5 hours home, hobbled into work as a carer, and then took the guy he was caring for to a doctors check-up.
