All of the other sins if we had 2 more episodes to flesh out and explain the stupidity then it could have been excused. But the big battle was where they were supposed to not be lazy atleast once in the season. And they dropped it there too.

The one that pissed me off the most about S8 was actually the literal cliffhanger from S7. Tormund and Berric Dondarrion were clearly seen on the Wall as it was collapsing at the end of S7, then they just pop up without a scratch on them next season. Which is bad enough, but then Jon literally asks Tormund about it and he just brushes it off. That’s the quality of writing we’re dealing with here.
