I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot more pictures of him come out, not only with the battle flag and with our group, but pictures of him with other groups, if you know what I mean. Ha! I thought maybe the full, uncropped pic was going to give some context to demonstrate the misleading nature of random internet pics. Like maybe they were in a Civil War museum or something but, nope, just a big ole stars and bars. When contacted for comment, Sen. McConnell’s office directed The DC to his statement on the 22nd [of June 2015], declining further comment. I’ll bet it wouldn’t take too long to find quotes of this guy being a racist or homophobe.
