When fishing the spawn in the spring, we anchor about 30-40 feet offshore and cast into the shallows. I’ve had jackoffs literally come and park between us and the shore and then refuse to acknowledge that we existed. It was “their spot” and they think they have exclusive rights to it. Not much one can do unless one wants to throw hands or waste a day of fishing. Fucking assholes.

Fishermen can be real assholes when they have a spot. Ice fishing can be similar but since you are fishing vertically down a hole it isn’t too much of a bother with them being 10 feet away, still a dick move.
