Is listening to this guy like giving Castro the opportunity to defend himself in front of the masses, or are the Iranians actually being reasonable, and we’re legit the baddies? I’m leaning toward we’re the baddies or the bigger baddies in this situation, and the bigger baddies in our relationship with Iran and Iraq and elsewhere for decades now.

think we have repeatedly had the opportunity to be the adult in the room in this region, and we have squandered that wonderful opportunity for a good outcome (including for ourselves) every single time. And largely in the interest of the profit of the few, every time. I’m actually going to listen to this guy, give him an informed listen, in large part because I just have that little faith.
