I wasn’t upset, the dude wasn’t himself and was having a tough night, but my friend kinda got on him. He said “This guy’s wife is an ICU nurse. She takes care of the sickest people, in the worst condition, in the whole world. And you know what? This guy – he takes care of HER.” Shut that dude right up. Thanks, fellow ICU-nurse-spouse! That’s a great story and keep up the good works that are you, friend. You take care of the person who takes of the sickest patients around. So you get my understanding and respect, at the very least.
