Use melatonin, when necessary. It’s extremely safe and effective, and not habit-forming. It’s the same hormone your brain uses to induce a natural sleep cycle, and it’s basically the only sleep aid that gives you normal, healthy sleep.
Google says that 30% of Americans don’t drink alcohol, and I’d bet that most of that group don’t smoke or use harder drugs. So the real question is who is still onboard if you add caffeine to the list.
