Hard to imagine any live-action Trek being released in 2021 at this point, and if anything, it wouldn’t be until the very end of the year. The only exception might be Short Treks. But maybe we’ll get Lower Decks season 2 next year, which is already in production.
CBS has so much archived content they could add to the service (particularly now that they have the Viacom catalog too). I know they have streaming deals with other services for specific shows, but I imagine there is plenty left to avoid a “drought”.
