Trump has not gotten into a missile exchange with North Korea. Just the opposite, he has facilitated diplomatic talks between the leaders of the peninsula. Moon Jae-in even recommended Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize back in 2018. Even if that’s merely an offhand comment, it’s quite a compliment. Now, lasting peace cannot be orchestrated by the US alone (certainly not by one POTUS), but it is a step in the right direction.

We have generally disengaged from the Middle East. After expending tons of blood and treasure on costly, endless wars, we are finally starting to bring the troops home. Under Trump, we have avoided starting new, prolonged conflicts (i.e. Syria). This is something I would assume that the Anti-war types would appreciate more, but I’ve not heard much from them. On that note, a peace deal was struck between Israel and the UAE not long ago.
