I’m fairly certain WB did the same thing with the Joss Whedon Batgirl story. He supposedly pitched it to them and they greenlit it, and then coincidentally he got Justice League. But when asked what his vision for Batgirl would be, Whedon admitted he had no idea what he wanted to do. How can you not know if you supposedly pitched it to executives? Ezra shot the scene, but was very uncomfortable and refused to do it with his face in between the breasts.
