His corner wasn’t giving him any helpful instruction at all and didn’t impress any sense of urgency into Vasyl that he’s losing on the scorecards. This is the double-edged sword of fathers being the boxer’s trainer. Listened to the commentators talk about how Loma is a slow starter and doesn’t start till the later rounds… Okay, we know that… But wasn’t expecting him to start fighting halfway into the fight… By then that’s giving away too many rounds to Lopez.
