There are protestors and then there are looters and people who use the protests as an excuse to destroy property and steal things. Most people that protest are peaceful and are there for good reasons but then you have those idiots that just want to ruin things.

protestors aren’t rioters. Some rioters are protestors, but it’s like how some priests molest children: when you start molesting children, you’re not a priest anymore; you might where the robe, you might preach the gospel, but you’re giving a terrible example of what might otherwise be a peaceful, honest condition.
