The pho place I go to has something like 90 dinner specials on their menu, but it’s really only 9 or so main dishes listed 10 times. Pork with egg roll and rice. Pork with egg roll and noodles. Pork with egg roll and fried prawns. Pork with rice and noodles. Etcetera etcetera etcetera.
Not necessarily true here. The Chinese restaurant I go to here has a Chinese menu and an English+Norwegian menu. The Norwegian/English menu does American food (stuff like beef in sauce and rice) and is literally an entire book. The Chinese menu is a completely different menu with Chinese food and only two pages long
