He’s happy to be there, works hard in training, and knows very well that this is the peak of his career, so there’s no fucking about. That’s pretty much what you’d want from a squad player. IMO they should let him stay and work his ass off until they can realistically promote someone from the youth team, to take his place.

I have the feeling he’ll do whatever is asked of him. Also, he can keep his mouth shut. He was pretty much the last one to tell his wife about the Barca rumors. No drama with this guy. The “keep his mouth shut” was more a dig at some of the divas that seem to have flourished after the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, and Puyol have left them tbh.
