Yeah, like my small town doesn’t have very many police officers. The two officers I personally know are a lesbian foster parent with a criminal justice degree and a trilingual bike racer with art ed and sociology degree who volunteers with a domestic violence charity.

It’s a pretty well educated and even-handed police force and you can’t compare it to even one an hour away which is known for racial bias and corruption. There are a lot of problems in policing but it’s not a standardized thing at all.
