More so sports history, but the film Cinderella Man portrayed boxer Max Baer as a murderous psychopath who gladly killed two fighters in the ring. In reality, he was personally devastated by these deaths. In the one he was most directly responsible for, he ended up giving his winnings from his next few fights to the fighter’s family. I’ve always wanted a movie where there is a normal good guy bad guy situation and it ends like that. but in the next movie, it shows the perspective of the villain and you get the same good guy bad guy but vice versa. In the end, you’d be confused about who to vouch for.
