I always think of the story from Slash’s autobiography, after Axl had cussed out Slash’s mom or grandma while he was crashing on Slash’s couch. Slash tried to bring it up in the car to ask him to not do that anymore. Rather than respond to the criticism, positively or negatively, Axl just tucked and rolled out of the moving car and walked off on his merry way. You’ve got to be at least a little crazy to pull that move. But raging asshole, also definitely yes.

Really wish Izzy reunited with them in 2016. As unrealistic as it may be, I really want them to record a new album. But I’d want Izzy there for the songwriting because, as you said, he really was the heart and soul of their songwriting. You do know they’ve been selling out football stadiums together for the last four years, right? There’s a new album in the works. It’s definitely a wait and sees as to whether or not it will be good.
