That was just beyond depressing and I generally support the guy. Sure, he’s denounced it in the past, but it was the easiest question all night (along with the last one about accepting the election) and he just blew it in every way imaginable. Now, Joe didn’t help himself by not giving a clear denouncement either, but damn that is the easiest question ever, and to dance around it is stupid. Can I ask if you are surprised? Because genuinely, as soon as Chris Wallace asked the question I knew he was gonna muff it. He hates denouncing racists. Racism is truly not a dealbreaker for him, I’m not sure how that’s not clear after 3.5 years in office.

Biden had support from all black members of congress and from the black community on the 1994 crime bill. You don’t have a clue about what you’re talking about. The crack epidemic was destroying black communities and they wanted something done about it. Furthermore, Biden’s own son was addicted to crack so he was intimately familiar with the issue. Not trying to be an apologist but if you’re going to list these things about Biden you have to also list the other side of the coin, Trump was racist against the Central Park 5 back in the day too, in a much more direct way. There are numerous other examples as well but that’s just what comes to mind as the most outright despicable thing.
